Bright Beginnings Therapy was established in 2023 following several years of dedicated study and hands on experience supporting children and families.
During my occupational therapy studies, I worked as both an Allied Health Assistant and an OOSH (Out of School Hours) educator. These roles provided valuable real world experience supporting children across different environments and developmental stages. Working alongside therapists, educators, and families helped shape my understanding of how children learn, play, and participate in everyday activities.
I completed my occupational therapy studies in 2021 and began working within a non for profit organisation. This experience provided a strong foundation as a new graduate, allowing me to continue developing my clinical skills while being supported within a collaborative team environment. Now, beyond my early years as a new graduate, I continue to engage in regular professional supervision to support ongoing learning, reflection, and growth in my practice.
Based in Sydney, I appreciate the diversity of environments the area offers, from beautiful beaches and coastal walks to peaceful bushland and green spaces. I enjoy staying active and value the role movement plays in supporting wellbeing.
Creativity is also an important part of who I am. I enjoy hands on projects and creative activities, which naturally carry over into how I engage with children during therapy sessions. I believe creativity and play are powerful tools for helping children build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy the therapy process.
Outside of work, I am a passionate animal lover and enjoy spending time with my pets. When I am not providing therapy, I aim to maintain a balance between quiet time, creativity, staying active, and connecting with the people and animals around me.
